Victorian Party Registration Submitted

Victorian Party Registration Submitted

Today, Thursday 28th of May, I have submitted The Riverina State Party registration application with the Victorian Electoral Commission (VEC).

This is a very big step in State formation.

Assuming registration proceeds as expected, the VEC will now post each Victorian member a pro-forma letter with a stamped return address envelope asking each member to confirm his or her membership.

Members must confirm their membership by returning this letter, otherwise the VEC will not count them in the minimum 500 members needed to register as a party in Victoria.

When this letter arrives, please complete it promptly and return post it.

State formation will ensure that the water, wealth, jobs, and ultimately the people, flourish in these areas.

David Landini.

Further information:

The VEC will only send letters to members who are on the electoral role.

I don’t know the time frame that the VEC works to regarding posting this letter.

If the registration application fails for any reason, re-application cannot be made for 6 months. This will prevent The Riverina State from standing candidates in the Victorian election in November.

If you want to know more, please ask via return email, or phone me on 0427 009683.
