Victorian Electoral Commission posts confirmation letters to members

Several members have received their Party confirmation letters from the Victorian Electoral Commission (VEC), and have completed and returned these.

If you haven’t already done so, when you receive your letter, please promptly complete and return it to the VEC.

Party registration is a monumental step in State formation. 866 members have been included in the registration submission. At least 500 have to return these letters to register The Riverina State Party.

Do any, or all, of the problems listed below justify State formation?

1) The draining of irrigation water, wealth, jobs and people from these areas.

2) The prohibiting of native timber harvesting on public land, and the proposed creation of massive new swarths of public land or reserves, and the consequent loss of jobs and people.

3) The construction of dubiously justified so called so called “renewable power” wind turbines, solar panel farms, and transmission lines that disfigure the countryside, increase electricity prices, and remove wealth creating countryside from production.

4)   The compulsory acquisition of farm land to enable the construction of  so called “renewable power” projects.

5) The Emergency Services tax, and the simultaneous decrease in Country Fire Authority funding.

6) Name your own reason.

History has proven that it doesn’t matter what the people in these areas say or do, these problem continue. They continue because Victoria is insurmountably dominated politically by its urban politicians. What the urban politicians decide is what will happen. And the people outside the urban area can’t do anything about it.

Only State formation, with the residents of this State having the authority to govern themselves and their natural resources, will ensure that the problems listed above are resolved satisfactorily, and that the people in this State prosper and flourish.

Note that only members who joined by the the 26th of May 2026 are on the submitted membership list and will receive the letter from the VEC.
