Victorian Country People Overwhelmed by Green Votes

Victorian Country People Overwhelmed by Green Votes

There were 3,267,061 formal votes cast in Victoria for the House of Representatives in the 2022 Federal election.

A total of 427,602 votes were cast for The Greens candidates. The vast majority of these in the Melbourne, Geelong and the Mornington Peninsula areas.

There were only 452,950 votes in the five marked electorates. There are almost as many Green voters as there are total voters in the marked electorates.

The need for politicians to appeal to the most voters to be elected, and the need to appeal to voters in most electorates to form government, ensures that Green issues will be prioritized before the natural resource based industries. Natural resource industries, and the prosperity of the people in the related areas, will inevitably be forced into decline.

To ensure their prosperity, the people in the northern areas of Victoria, and perhaps more, need to be part of The Riverina State.
