There need be no doubt that the Federal Labor Government will remove another 450 gigalitres of water from productive use in The Riverina and Northern Victoria. To be frank, the claims by NSW and Victoria that they will not agree to this removal will be either bought off by more Federal financial grants, promotions within the political hierarchy, or changed with a change of State government. A Riverina State (including parts of Country Victoria) is essential to protect the prosperity and happiness of the people in The Riverina.
