Getting The Riverina State Printed On The Voting Ballot

Getting The Riverina State Printed On The Voting Ballot

Registering The Riverina State party and being able to print The Riverina State under every Riverina State candidates’ name in the 2023 NSW State election is an important part of State formation strategy.

The image above on the left is of the original voting ballot for the electorate of Murray in the 2019 NSW election. I was a candidate in that election, but without a registered Riverina State party I consequently had the name INDEPENDENT printed under my name. This provided no State formation policy information for voters, which was a huge disadvantage compared to candidates representing known political parties. The ballot on the right is an edited version with THE RIVERINA STATE instead of INDEPENDENT. This is far more informative.

It is the intention of The Riverina State Group to stand candidates in every electorate in the proposed Riverina State. Having the name THE RIVERINA STATE printed on the voting ballot is a huge advertising benefit as voters will be able to identify Riverina State candidates accurately and vote accordingly.

Assuming that The Riverina State candidates gain more than 10% of the primary vote, this defined quantity and consequent credibility will be used to campaign for a referendum of the people in the Riverina on State formation. The expected successful result will be used to compel the NSW Parliament to consent to State formation as provided for in Section 124 of the Australian Constitution.

There is a link to a video (and  membership form) at the end of this article explaining in more detail the benefit of having a registered Riverina State party. A minimum of 750 members are required in NSW. 500 are required to register in Victoria. Please invite your family, friends and associates to join. I am available to assist at any time.
