Hay Information Evening

A well attended and interesting information evening was held at the Hay Library RSL Room on 24/11/22.

The evening began with a brief history of the Riverina State efforts of the 1850-60s and the 1930-40s. This was followed by a demonstration and illustration of the increasing domination of NSW by the population and politicians in Newcastle, Sydney and Wollongong, with their associated large Green sub-population. This increasing domination explains why the natural resource based industries such as irrigation and timber are being suppressed, with devastating consequences for the people in the Riverina, and why a Riverina State is essential.

The evening closed with a very enjoyable supper.
