The Weekly Times ‘A Shameless (Water) Grab’

The Federal Government’s Basin Plan’s decimation of the people in country areas continues as displayed in The Weekly Times article.

The Basin Plan is disguised as an environmental plan, while it is in fact a political plan. It is a political plan of politicians and their parties to gain ill-informed Green oriented urban votes so that these politicians can be elected to State and Federal Parliaments, and so that their political parties can form government.

A satisfactory solution to the Basin Plan’s decimation can only be accomplished politically, yet the domination of NSW, Victoria and South Australia by their ill-informed Green oriented capital city populations ensures that this solution can not be achieved. Only a Riverina State, separate from NSW, with authority over the water (guaranteed by section 100 of the Australian Constitution) and other resources within its area, can preserve the responsible use of these resources and ensure the people in the Riverina survive and prosper.
