Victorian Timber Industry Felled Early

Lloyd Polkinghorne (editor Koondrook & Barham Bridge) reports on the early felling of the Victorian native timber harvesting industry.

The Weekly Times reports that Victoria has ‘caved in to environment groups’ legal challenges’ and brought the phase out period forward six years from 2030.

The map above displays the number of Green votes relative to the number of votes in non-urban areas in the 2022 State election. There are more Green voters in Victoria, mostly in the urban areas, than the total number of voters in the 10 marked electorates.

The closure of the Victorian native timber harvesting industry has not occurred due to legal threats; it has occurred due to the Green orientation of the Victorian urban population and this population’s insurmountable political power.

It is politics alone that has closed the Victorian native timber harvesting industry.

The only solution to preserving the natural resource industries in Victoria is the same solution for NSW; non urban Victorians and New South Welshman need to separate politically from their Green oriented and politically insurmountable urban populations; and form a Riverina State.

The Riverina State is needed – Now.
