Millewa Forest Timber Harvesting Policy Meeting

There will be a Millewa Forest native timber harvesting policy formation meeting at the Mathoura Bowling Club at 6 pm on Wednesday 28th of June. Riverina State members and supporters are invited to attend.

Timber harvesting was a 150 year old industry in Mathoura generating $80,000,000 p.a. worth of jobs and prosperity for people in the local area before the NSW State Government shut it down.

The previous Hay Plains wind and sunlight electricity generation project policy meeting at Hay, and the irrigation water meeting at Mates Koondrook Hotel, were both very constructive and established the base for precise policies to be built on. This will continue in the near future. Members and supporters will be informed and welcome to attend.
